The Cards need pitchers. The Dodgers have several young arms that all the scouts agree have MLB talent. Dodgers can't fit them all on the roster and several will be eligible for the Rule 5 Draft. If the Dodgers can get a talent such as Arenado that plays a position of need and add a great right-handed bat its a win win.
